"The amount of goth-industrial material accessible to those looking for the dark, heavy style without the negative message is seriously lacking. Dead 2 Life's debut album goes a long way towards filling the void. The industrial elements on "Disconnect" are taken care of by the driving guitars, grinding synth work, and occasional vocal samples. The majority of the tracks are heavy, incorporating elements ranging from rock to metal. This is not surprising, considering front man James Heath's experience with fellow Aussie metal acts Incarnate and Paramecium…"
